Introduction to role

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that combines Windows system administration with cutting-edge observability and monitoring solutions? We are looking for a skilled and motivated Windows + Observability/Monitoring Engineer to support and optimize our enterprise IT infrastructure. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to proactively identify issues, implement effective monitoring strategies, and enhance system health across both on-premises and cloud environments. Accountabilities

As an Infrastructure Operation Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the visibility, performance, and reliability of critical systems. Your role will involve designing, deploying, and managing observability and monitoring solutions. You will collaborate with various teams to maintain system health and proactively address potential issues. Your expertise will be crucial in building and managing dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics for critical infrastructure.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4-6 years Operational experience in Windows Server/VMware administration

• Experience in managing Incidents, Problems, changes and capacity management aspects.

• Demonstrated ability handling large number of incidents via. Any ITSM tool

• Flexibility to work in shifts on rotational basis covering Americas, EMEA and ASIAPAC regions 24*7

• Experience with Service Now ITSM tool is preferred.

• Experience working in converged infrastructure, UCS, HP

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).

• Ensure OS patching, configuration compliance, and security hardening.

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Zabbix, Datadog, etc.).

• Build and manage dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics for critical infrastructure.

• Ensure infrastructure monitoring solutions support compliance and audit requirements.
