This position sits in the GBS Analytics Team in Global Business Services, UK. Our key priorities are to provide automated analytics and reporting across the enterprise, working with our customers to define key metrics and accessing the data to productionise reporting.
Accountabilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, understand business logic & data models.
Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap and user-stories that reflect the customer’s perspective.
Represent the customer within the GBS Analytics team from product/service inception through to in-life support.
Manage (agile) & coordinate the work of developers to deliver the required results.
Manage the process of turning requirements into automated dashboards.
Define and establish support mechanisms so that the solution will persist in a reliable manner.
Ensure that work produced by the teams conforms to designs and development standards so that economies of scale can be achieved during the support phase.
Contribute to the development of the GBS Analytics value-proposition – e.g., via “sales and marketing” activities, and by maintaining awareness of external (non-AZ) best practices and insights.
Essential Skills/Experience
Proven experience working on Finance related analytics
Ability to review systems and map business processes As-Is/To-Be with exposure to Process Mapping tools e.g., BIC
Coordinating the work of business, IT, and external teams to deliver the required results
Supports data investigations/validation
Familiar with project management software, e.g., Jira, Confluence
Influence decision-making processes and guide stakeholders towards effective solutions by facilitating consensus among diverse groups of stakeholders
Ability to collate information from relevant sources for analysis and reporting relevant data trends for informed decision-making
Desirable Skills/Experience
Familiarity with analytics best-practices & business intelligence tools: PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate
Fit for purpose solution design and data models
Good understanding of data modelling, data visualization and other relevant tools and techniques
Experience of working within a global organization
