Program Coordinator, Data Analyst Co Op

This is what you will do:

The Program Coordinator Data Analyst Co-op supports the Alexion GPPM (Global Portfolio & Project Management) Operations team, inclusive of Project / Program Management, Resource Management, Portfolio Management, and associated systems and reporting. It is an administrative / data maintenance and communications role. Works closely with respective teams, providing technical / administrative support and training through scheduling meetings / sessions. The Co-op work includes analytical duties and support to assist staff with complex tasks and advanced duties including the collection and preparation of information and key data for use in discussions / presentations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of web-based sites, such as Box and SharePoint
  • Driver of monthly reporting process for dashboard
  • Support maintaining project schedules and other data attributes in Planisware.
  • Discreet work product efforts, i.e., excel workbooks, slide presentations, and business process flow diagrams.
  • Preparation and support of recurring reports and analysis such as Monthly Dashboards, Risks & Issues Management, and Governance / Goals updates.

You will need to have:

  • Education / experience in Project Management
  • Experience working within a high paced fluid environment.
  • Experience with data analytic tools, i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
  • Attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Experience with databases and associated SQL

We would prefer for you to have:

  • Above average experience of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, or other project planning tools.
  • Time management, planning and organizational skills. 
  • Works independently, takes initiative, and completes tasks to deadlines.
  • Consistently demonstrates respect for people and relates to people in an open, professional, and encouraging manner.
  • Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure; persists despite obstacles and opposition.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities, tasks and demands.
  • Must be able to exercise judgment, tact, and diplomacy on behalf of the Alexion GPPM team when dealing with different levels of management.
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment.  As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
