Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the finance landscape? As the Finance Partner for Gross to Net (GTN), you'll be at the forefront of ensuring financial consistency and compliance within the Rare Disease Unit (RDU). This position offers an outstanding opportunity to collaborate across various departments, including US Finance, Government Affairs, US Market Access, and Accounting. Accountabilities:
Ensure GTN liabilities are accurate and appropriate by collaborating closely with accounting personnel to ensure consistency and understanding of methodologies.
Consult with US Market Access to understand any issues with payers and changes to contracting to ensure the impact on the Market Access liability is considered across US Finance.
Liaise and ensure the accuracy of monthly closings with accounting.
Lead monthly reviews of the GTN close with the US Finance Team.
Provide GTN training as vital both to US and Global colleagues.
Lead and inspire change to simplify data and models.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements in this high-risk area.
Work closely with Global Financial Services team specific to functions supported by this role.
Provide mentorship to Business Development for GTN
Apply insights to build and maintain channel level GTN forecasts for input into revenue forecasting models, collaborating with US Commercial leadership to ensure awareness of and alignment on GTN assumption
Evaluate impact of business initiatives and programs on GTN (for example: copay card programs, payer contracting, etc.); conduct post-implementation assessment of performance on driven programs/contracts
Perform ad-hoc reporting requirements and work on special projects, as vital
Crucial Skills/Experience:
B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting
3-5+ years of financial experience, pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Knowledge of US operating model
Excellent PC skills and experience including SAP, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical ability
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written
Confidence in working with Senior Management
High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes teamwork to meet deliverables
Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead multiple and frequently changing priorities
Demonstrated capability to meet strict deadlines with a high level of ownership and strong sense of urgency
The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. The annual base pay for this position ranges from $106,657 to $159,985. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
