Role Barcelona onsite / 3 days at office - 2 days at home
This role requires someone thatnot only understands and cares aboutquality, butcan also develop the processes and infrastructure requires tovalidateand automate the quality gates, as well as design means of validating and verifying agentic AI-based products.We’llrely on you to bring your technical acumen to help the team continue to deliver world class solutions.
In this role, you will be aTest Managerinan emergingproductthatleveragesAI capabilities to author all the needed documentation in preparation for a clinical study. This role will be based in Barcelona,ESand you will be a part of our global product engineering team.
Our team is a high performing team in a fast-paced environment, and you will often be working with team members across multiple locations. You will be collaborating with cross functional teams – like design, product, and platform. You will be given requirements that youareexpected tounderstand, anduse them tothoroughlyvalidatethe product accordingly.
You will automate all non-exploratory tests, design tests for AI-based logic and its heuristicnature, andmake sure a level of exploratory tests is done as a backup to the main quality gates.
You are expected to thoroughly understand the Software Development Lifecycle and best practices that should allow you to help your fellowteammates,delivering/deployingthe product, and escalate appropriately to your lead. You will also be coordinating with different teams as needed forintegrations.
AsaTest Manager, you are expected toadhere to, but alsoimprove,the process of quality validation and verification in a regulated clinical space.You will work with engineers to make sure a level of engineer-owned tests is created prior toend to endtests whichTest engineers and managerswill own.
As a part of this:
You will be collaborating with BA/Product/Design teams to understand requirements.
You willbe responsible forwriting qualityteststo match the requirements.
You will betesting usingbestpractices.
You will be ensuringquality gates by working with engineers to verify they provideproper code coverage.
You will raise and escalate any issues/blockers in time to your lead.
We consider individuals in this role to be our top tierTest Managers.A top tierTest Manageris capable of workingin multiple spaces and is likely to be the most experienced and skilledtest engineeron the team to begin with.Learningnew technologyis part of that. However, you must havegoodtechnical skillstoboth automate tests as well as understand testing in an agentic AI product space.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent degree is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Long history of enjoyingthe challenge of qualityverification, andunderstanding quality verification processes.
6+years of hands-ontesting and test automation.
TestingAgenticAI-based systemswill bea big advantage.
