Senior Manager, Data Product Management FinOps

Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit is looking to build the next generation of patient-centric data products to support scalable AI solutions. We are seeking a qualified individual whose passion lies in understanding how to best utilize healthcare data and platforms to drive business innovation. This role is responsible for leading the effort on building and maintaining data management solutions with a focus on business process analysis and functional data management. Reporting directly to the Head of Data Management in IT, this role works closely with functional Data Governance Offices, IT BP’s & Data Capability leads, and Platform Owners.

Accountabilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery and maintenance of data products for RDU Operations and Finance functions. Translate business demands into data foundation needs and implement data products adhering to RDU standards.
  • Manage functional roadmap of core and derived/analytical data products mapped to business processes.
  • Work with business stakeholders and IT system owners across MDM (master data management), RDM (reference data management), and DC (data catalogue) to ensure the adoption and adherence of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and Trustworthy data product standards.
  • Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Quality Managers to drive forward data standardization and practices.
  • Liaise proactively with SMEs and Information Architects to support the development and implementation of conceptual models, business glossary, and ontologies.

Essential Skills/Experience

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Working knowledge of R/Python, SQL
  • Prior experience working with Pharma Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance data assets and business processes.
  • Exposure to Application systems like SAP, Anaplan, TrackWise, and LIMS
