Information Architect – Master and Reference Data Management
Information Architect – Master and Reference Data Management
Introduction to role
At AstraZeneca, we’re driven by innovation and a dedication to pushing the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines. Our Enterprise Data Office (EDO) is a central IT function newly formed to define and deliver enterprise data strategies and standards. We collaborate closely with Business Technology Groups (BTGs), SET Area Data Offices (SEDOs), and data governance teams to design and deliver data products, including Data Mesh architectures, analytical solutions, and enterprise information architectures.
As part of the EDO, our Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Practice specializes in Enterprise Information Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Analysis. We lead cross-organizational efforts to define and deliver enterprise-level data architectures and strategies, supporting initiatives like Data Mesh, Data Platforms, and FAIR Data principles. Our work is critical to ensuring AstraZeneca’s data is effectively ingested, processed, transformed, and governed for maximum business value.
We are excited to announce a new role within our EIA Practice: Information Architect – Master and Reference Data Management. This position is pivotal in crafting and governing enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) solutions, strategies, and architectures. If you are an experienced data architect with a solid background in MDM and RDM solutions, this is an outstanding opportunity to influence AstraZeneca’s enterprise data landscape.
