DevOps Engineer

Evinova, a healthtech leader under the AstraZeneca Group, is seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to collaborate in building, automating, and optimizing the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for our SaaS platform. In this role, you will work closely with a DevOps Engineer to implement EKS, AWS CDK automation and enhance CI/CD workflows using ArgoCD. You will gain hands-on experience in modern DevOps practices and AWS infrastructure while supporting a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Accountabilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Assist in implementing and maintaining infrastructure automation using AWS CDK under the guidance of the Senior DevOps Engineer.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate to design and manage CI/CD workflows using ArgoCD to enable streamlined deployments and release automation.
- Automation: Support efforts to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and operational tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior DevOps Engineer and cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with development and operational needs.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Documentation: Contribute to documentation of infrastructure, pipelines, and workflows to facilitate team knowledge-sharing and onboarding.
- Problem-Solving: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure, deployment, and operational issues.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Experience: 3+ years in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or cloud-related roles.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPCs, EC2, S3, and IAM.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Exposure to AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform, with a willingness to grow expertise in CDK.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git and branching strategies.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with team members.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS platforms and best practices.
