Whatyou’lldo
The Medical HealthCare Partner (MHP) is a scientific expert in the field, responsible for encouraging high-level scientific exchange and building trusted peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals.
This role combines strong technical field execution with the ability to generate meaningful territory insights and translate them into strategic value at national level. The primary therapeutic focus will be respiratory and eosinophilic diseases within Specialty Care Biologics.
Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:
Develop andmaintainhigh-quality peer-level relationships with key external experts across the Northern territory.
Ensure balanced,credibleand science-driven medical engagement aligned with AstraZeneca’s ethical standards.
Implement and execute the field medical plan within the Northern territory with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of healthcare system pathways and multidisciplinary dynamics within respiratory and immune-mediated diseases.
Proactivelyidentifyunmet medical needs and patient pathway gaps.
Generate structured territory insights and translate them into actionable strategic recommendations.
Actively contribute to the development and refinement of the national medical strategy.
Identifyand support opportunities for real-world evidence generation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Partner with Evidence Generation and other internal stakeholders to ensure aligned and integrated execution.
Contribute to medical education initiatives and internal scientific training whenrequired.
Demonstrate adaptability to evolving portfolio priorities in line with business and patient needs.
Profile
We are looking for a proactive,experiencedand growth-oriented professional who combines scientific credibility withstrong communicationskills and strategic thinking.
Essentialrequirements:
University degree in a health-related scientific field.
Experience within the pharmaceutical industry– particularly in a hospital setting.
Strong scientific acumen and ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously within a geographically broad territory.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into value-driven proposals.
Strong teamorientation and commitment to collaborative national work.
Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese.
Very goodcommand of written and spoken English.
Highlyvalued:
Experience in Field Medical roles.
Experience in biologics or specialty care therapies.
Experience in respiratory and/or immune-mediated diseases.
Involvement in real-world evidence projects or healthcare system transformation initiatives.
