  • Customer relationship management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the business area once deployed to the contracting system of record (e.g., Engage); drive customer satisfaction and service adoption, including senior management engagement.

  • Payments oversight: Monitor payment timeliness and accuracy; partner with the Payments team to proactively resolve exceptions and prevent aging backlogs.

  • Issue and escalation management: Address queries and escalations promptly and professionally; serve as deputy/back-up to the Director for coverage and high-priority escalations.

  • Continuous improvement and change management: Identify process gaps and lead optimization initiatives to improve throughput, compliance, and user experience; manage change and training rollouts.

  • People management: Conduct quarterly and year-end performance reviews; own succession planning and backfill management; lead recruiting, onboarding, and training for new hires; hold monthly skip-level meetings to strengthen engagement and risk sensing.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a related field.

  • Experience: 5–7 years in biopharmaceutical or highly regulated industries, with familiarity working in a matrix organization, HCP and commercial contract management, red-line support, including at least 2–3 years leading teams or programs.

  • Technical and compliance knowledge: Hands-on experience with contracting and engaging healthcare providers/patients; working knowledge of fair market value (FMV), transparency, anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC), and vendor management.

  • Analytics and decision-making: Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis; build and interpret operational dashboards; translate insights into actionable recommendations aligned to the E3S strategic vision.

  • Process and project management: Strong process design and project management skills with a solutions-oriented approach to simplify complex workflows.

  • Influence and communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority and interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
