Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Procurement Manager with around Ten years of expertise in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Global Sourcing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of a wide range of services and goods for AZPIL, including but not limited to services related to BU-specific requirements, retainership, print, campaigns, Market Research, Traditional & Professional advertising activities.

Additionally, the role involves managing IS&IT-related products and services, including hardware, software, servers, consumables, routers, VPN connections, network infrastructure, bandwidth, spares, etc. The candidate will also handle outsourcing activities such as selecting agencies for PR, IFM services, security, event management, business development, advertisement, transport, facility management, and HR services (including training and development, recruitment services, employee relations programs, and other HR services).

The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for creating annual contracts for hotels & accommodations, IT & IFM-related services, and will oversee vendor development and vendor audit activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement of services and goods for AZPIL, including various specialized requirements.
  • Management of IS&IT-related products and services procurement.
  • Oversight of outsourcing activities across multiple functions.
  • Creation of annual contracts for essential services.
  • Vendor development, management and audit activities.
  • Supplier Base and Performance management
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and meet business needs.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements to achieve favorable terms.
  • Monitoring market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes across Sourcing, Contracts Management, Procure-to-Pay, Internal stakeholder management and Supplier Performance Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Proven track record in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge on P2P and Taxation
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Mindset to support business-critical applications
  • Keen to acquire new skills and work on new technology products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Ability to respond well to pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across team boundaries.
  • Evidence of shaping innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organization. 
  • Experience working in a global organization where stakeholders and project team members are geographically dispersed.
