Based in Bangalore, you will join a high-performing team that powers the delivery of R&D technology by turning data into decisions, spend into strategy, and processes into outcomes.

Working at the center of a lively project portfolio, you will collaborate with Project Managers and team members across regions. You will keep finances detailed, resources optimized, and governance tight. Your work will sharpen visibility of platform performance and ensure that purchasing, onboarding, and communications land on time and to standard. Accountabilities:

Own day-to-day financial integrity for core platforms. Handle actuals, accruals, and cross-charges. Compile and review Monthly Progress Reports to provide insights. Supervise forecasts against budgets to guide resourcing choices and measure the impact of vacancies and recruitment.

Maintain detailed and accurate plans for ServiceNow expenses and prioritization. Verify records are consistent with budgets and delivery schedules. Use Excel to keep platform pack records aligned between forecasts and actuals.

Performance Metrics and Reporting Excellence: Set up and lead Operational Health reporting on platforms, coordinate inputs alongside Project Managers, and run quality reviews for consistent, trusted reporting. Build and maintain operational, delivery, and productivity metrics; lead resourcing and recruitment data in the Forecast Resource and Actuals (FRES) tracker; and develop concise “project postcards” using data from Airfocus to spotlight achievements.

Purchasing and Procure-to-Pay Execution: Initiate Purchase Requisitions, create and lead Purchase Orders, process goods receipts, and be responsible for change requests through Coupa with complete documentation and timely approvals, ensuring spend aligns with plan and delivery needs.

Collaborator Communications and Governance: Manage, maintain, and extract data across Excel and Confluence to support planning and advise SharePoint Online audiences. Distribute communications for cross-team events and engage in regular meetings with PMs and sponsors to ensure project status is accurate, current, and decision-ready.

Onboarding and Offboarding Coordination: Coordinate equipment issuance and retrieval for smooth transitions; lead access requests across SharePoint Online, email distribution lists, Confluence, Jira, and other tools; supervise training completion for new starters; and promote guidelines that streamline processes and improve data accuracy across systems.

Continuous Improvement and Ways of Working: Proactively identify bottlenecks, propose improvements to reporting and procurement workflows, and embed standards that increase visibility, strengthen compliance, and reduce cycle time across the portfolio.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in project management or relevant roles, demonstrating a proven understanding of operational processes and financial management.
  • Skills:
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Procure to Pay process and experience with Coupa and ServiceNow represent a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with SmartSheets, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Confluence, Jira, AirFocus, will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven knowledge of, or ability to learn, current policies and guidelines that affect contracts, compliance etc. in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of accomplishment of meeting or exceeding objectives & goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Finance-focused background with hands-on experience leading actuals, accruals, forecasting, and budget reconciliation.
  • Experience supporting global IT or R&D portfolios and partnering with cross-regional collaborators.
  • Sophisticated proficiency building dashboards or automations in Power BI or SmartSheets to streamline reporting.
  • Practical expertise in Coupa for sophisticated PO lifecycle management and in ServiceNow for cost and resource planning.
  • Familiarity with Airfocus and Jira for portfolio tracking and storytelling.
  • Ability to work shift timings that align with UK and US (Eastern) time zones.
