About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled TA Finance Business Partner to provide world‑class financial leadership across international markets for the Bone, Rare Tumors, Pipeline and IHQ Commercial Therapeutic Areas. In this influential role, you will partner cross‑functionally with global TA leadership, Commercial Operations, Medical, Market Access and country finance teams to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

You will act as a strategic advisor, delivering deep financial insight, challenging key stakeholders, and ensuring optimal resource allocation. This is a high‑visibility position requiring strong business partnering skills, exceptional analytical capability, and the ability to influence senior leaders.

What You Will Do

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Partner with global TA leads and cross‑functional teams to develop strategies that drive sustainable growth and optimize resource allocation.

  • Lead strategic planning, MTP cycles, and annual phased budgeting for international markets.

  • Define modelling approaches, set key assumptions, and guide countries to secure alignment on targets and expectations.

  • Prepare and present International TA financial analyses to senior leadership.

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Deliver insightful reporting and forecasting for monthly business reviews, ILT sessions, QBRs, and ad hoc analysis.

  • Provide robust TA P&L management to ensure consistency and optimal investment allocation across the region.

  • Build and communicate forecasting models for use across countries and clusters.

  • Ensure timely, high-quality submissions of all TA reports, forecasts, KPIs and performance packages.

Business Partnering & Market Access Support

  • Work closely with the TA Head of Strategic Access to assess pricing proposals, validate business cases, and quantify reimbursement and reference pricing impacts.

  • Develop deep understanding of reimbursement pathways in major International markets to support pricing strategy and access decisions.

Risk Management & Process Excellence

  • Anticipate and mitigate financial risks through rigorous application of corporate and regional policies.

  • Ensure accurate entity‑wide P&L forecasting and strong financial controls.

  • Promote efficiency, standardization and leverage of Global Finance Services (GFS) to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness.

IHQ & Regional Support

  • Support IHQ teams with forecasting, reporting and performance analysis across indications (patients, vials, revenue).

  • Drive consistency of BU analysis across regions and support financial alignment with Market Access and P&R teams.

  • Manage Opex for IHQ TA spend.

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Mentor and develop business controllers and analysts to deliver best‑in‑class planning and analysis.

  • Provide training on revenue models, forecasting tools and analytical methodologies.

What You Bring

Essential

  • ~10 years' experience in finance roles, including 5+ years in regional Finance/Controlling.

  • Experience in multinational environments; Big Advisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Background in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology, ideally rare disease.

  • Proven business partnering skills with senior leaders.

  • Strong financial and strategic acumen with deep analytical capability (modelling, forecasting, KPI development).

  • Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong systems knowledge (ERP/SAP, SAP BI).

  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language (spoken and written).

  • Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Experience developing reporting packages and KPIs for planning and performance.

Preferred

  • University degree; MBA or equivalent is a strong plus.

  • Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE.
