About the role

We have an opportunity for a Director – SAP Supply Chain to join our Global Innovation and Technology Centre in Guadalajara, Mexico. We operate several SAP landscapes worldwide and are embarking on a multi‑year, business‑led ERP transformation toS/4HANA. You will contribute to that journey while supporting the current SAP estate. We ensure changes are aligned to target architecture, high in design quality, timely, affordable, sustainable, and introduced with minimal risk to operations.

Role summary

We connectSAP architects/senior consultantsand global supply chainpartners. We translate pharma business needs intofit‑to‑standardSAP Business Suite solutions with minimal customization. We championclean coreand global template standards across a single globalS/4HANAinstance coveringAsia, Europe, the Americas, and LATAM. We deliver agile enhancements with minimal disruption.

Key responsibilities

  • Fit‑to‑standard design: LeadOTC,P2P, andP2Sdesigns acrossECC(MM, WM, SD, ATTP, APO) and theS/4HANAecosystem (GTS, BNL‑GTT, BNL‑SCC, SAC, BTP, BRH, PaPM, ICSM, IAG).

  • Regulatory embedding: BuildGxP/GMP,GDP,EU FMD/US DSCSAserialization viaATTP, andtrade complianceviaGTSinto process designs and change control.

  • Template governance: Governglobal templateadoption,master datastandards, andconfiguration guardrails; drivestandard‑firstdecisions with minimalWRICEF.

  • Integration orchestration: ConnectS/4,EWM/WM,ATTP,GTS,BNL‑GTT/SCC,SACand external partners (3PLs,CMOs, carriers) using validated standard interfaces (IDoc,OData/REST,EDI) viaCPI/PI‑PO.

  • Agile delivery and validation: Shape backlogs, estimates, releases, cutovers, and hypercare plans. Ensurevalidation evidenceandtransportrigor that minimize operational disruption.

  • Incident resolution: Triage complex supply chain issues acrossATP, pricing, warehouse execution, serialization exceptions, and trade holds while preserving clean core and validated state.

  • Analytics and controls: EnableSACanalytics; automate controls viaICSM/IAGwith cleardata lineageand audit readiness.

Mandatory qualifications and experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Pharma SCM: Experience in pharmaceutical supply operations and systems aligned toGxP/GMPandGDP.

  • SAP ECC core: Hands‑on withSD,MM,WM, and serialization viaATTP; practical exposure toAPOconcepts and migration considerations.

  • S/4HANA ecosystem: Working knowledge ofGTS,BNL‑GTT/BNL‑SCC,SAC,BTP,BRH,IAG,ICSM; ability to applystandard‑firstpatterns.

  • Regulatory knowledge: Understanding ofEU FMDandUS DSCSAserialization, aggregation, and returns rework; trade compliance basics (classification, licensing, screening).

  • Integration: Experience withCPI/PI‑POand standard SAP interfaces (IDoc,OData/REST,EDI) for3PL/carrier/CMOintegrations.

  • Agile and validation: Delivery in validated environments withrisk‑based testing,traceable evidence, andtransport controls.

  • Human skills: Excellent English communication (written and verbal), negotiation and influencing, executivestakeholderengagement,crisis/escalationmanagement, and mentoring/coaching of peers.

Desirable (trainable) skills

  • EWM: Embedded/standalone EWM for advanced warehousing, wave/picking, and labor management.

  • Advanced ATP: S/4AATPdesign and backorder processing; configuration and performance tuning.

  • PaPM: Scenario analysis for supply decisions (cost‑to‑serve, margin simulations).

  • BRH: Business rules for regional policies (GDP exceptions, documentation requirements).

  • SAC:KPIdesign forOTIF, inventory turns, temperature excursion compliance; data modeling for regulatory dashboards.

  • ICSM/IAG: Automated controls andSoDmodels for supply roles.

  • BTP: Side‑by‑side extensibility, event‑driven integrations, lightweight apps;RAP/Fiori/UI5familiarity.

  • BNL‑GTT/SCC: Global tracking and collaboration process orchestration.

  • Change leadership: Lead cross‑regional workshops, adoption strategies, and hypercare playbooks.

Success measures

  • Fit‑to‑standard adoption: MinimalWRICEFand strong validation outcomes.

  • Stable global deployments: Fewer serialization/traceability and trade compliance incidents.

  • Operational performance: Improved cycle times,OTIF, inventory accuracy, and audit readiness viaSAC/ICSM/IAG.
