Technical Director

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the sites validation status is maintained to a compliant standard (including equipment, systems and processes, such as, process improvements / changes, change to parameters, API / excipients etc.)
  • As appropriate, review and approve Wuxi site policies, guidelines, protocols, program, reports etc. associated with qualification and validation of systems, processes and equipment
  • Through the packaging engineers ensure compliant artwork design (with no errors). Ensure appropriate anti-counterfeit measures are included in the designs
  • Ensure EBRs and BOMs are kept up to date, compliant and accurate
  • Set & deliver budget & headcount targets
  • Develop suitable level of technical expertise for future site remit of global supply site
  • Ensure group consistently work within all AZ guidelines e.g. financial, GMP, SHE
  • Accountable for ensuring good safety culture in group and ensure SHE aspects are considered in all work performed by the group

Requirements:

  • University graduate or above
  • ≥7 years relevant work experience in a multi-national pharmaceutical industry
  • AZ leadership capabilities (level 3)
  • Analytical thinking ability
  • Assures quality and compliance
  • Able to demonstrate discretion and sensitivity when handling difficult situations
  • Pharmaceutical knowledge, including production and regulatory processes
  • Knowledge of technical transfer / NPI procedures
  • Knowledge of packaging artwork processes
  • Knowledge of process validation requirements
  • Knowledge of AZ Project management (PMF) tool
  • Knowledge and experience of AZ risk management (IRM) process
  • GMP knowledge
  • Excellent written and oral English proficiency
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management
