The Commercial Director is accountable for the commercial areas for the organization.

  • Lead commercial team to drive optimal outcomes for patients who can benefit from our innovative medicines through the distribution of our products to institutional and trade channel, attending the needs of the contributive and subsidized regime in South Cone.
  • Works closely with the Business Units to align strategies, identify opportunities around commercial & access arms to ensure sales forecasts and operational budgets are met or exceeded within the therapeutic area in South Cone.
  • Work with finance area to ensure all commercial discounts, price lists for institutional and trade channel and price negotiation with HMOs have been reviewed and approved according to AZ SOUTH CONE Commercial Policy and SOP.
  • Develop and execute new commercial models according to market dynamics that contributes and support brand’s growth on the institutional and trade channel.
  • Ensure the properly stock at customers according to the historic and trend demand and in line with inventory guidance to mitigate stock out that could affect the level of services of 95%.
  • Mitigate financial exposure by ensuring DSO and past due balances are under AZ financial target for all customers.
  • Anticipate potential risk associated with new regulation, laws or change on the market dynamic that could jeopardize the company goals.
  • Participate actively on budget and forecast preparation process with Business Units and Finance area.
  • Participate actively on Business review for all Business Units.
  • Works with the Business Units designing commercial strategies, improving the position of our products at the HMOs to benefit more patients with our innovative medicines.

  • Straight and ambitious targets (prioritize and controlled risk socket)
  • Working relationships with top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Compromising (influence, empowerment, to reach or overcome expectations)
  • Energy to win the competition (focus on result, initiative, agility, decision)
