US Commercial Oncology has an ambition to have industry leading growth, on back of 40+ launches and managing 70+ indications. On the background of operating at this scale and pace, the VP, Oncology Business Excellence (OBEX) is accountable for building and delivering broad and end-to-end US commercial capabilities that enable our commercial and cross-functional teams to implement with excellence against business plans and priorities through industry leading customer and patient engagement capability, commercial excellence, organization and people capabilities, and insights driven decisions.
The VP, OBEX will report directly to the SVP, US Commercial Oncology, be a high-level contributor to the US Commercial Oncology Leadership team and is encouraged to work closely with and influence aligned global partners including Global IBEX, Commercial Digital Health and IT. The role will lead a team of consisting of Insights and Analytics, Oncology Training and Development, Field Enablement and Sales Force Operations, Omnichannel Ecosystem and Delivery, Data Strategy and Platform, Customer and Patient Engagement, and Digital Innovation.
What You’ll Do:
This is a meaningful role driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence across all franchises via providing actionable business insights, optimizing commercial strategies and tactics, and improving operational efficiency across franchises. The role is fully responsible to elevate the organization’s commercial performance through the development and delivery of best-in-class commercial practices, sales operations, sales force effectiveness, omnichannel and/or digital customer and patient engagement innovation and insights driven decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in business or science related field
- At least 12 years of experience within any of the following areas: Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing, Omnichannel & Digital Marketing Innovation, Data & Insights Modeling
- Experience contributing as a Leadership team member with adept business partnering skills across multiple groups in a matrix organization
- Proven track record of driving commercial performance improvement
- People leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent graduate level education
- Wide understanding of global business context, having held diverse roles outside home country, cross-functional and multiple therapeutic areas
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, industry leading growth and result oriented environment, managing multiple priorities and initiatives.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $317,172 to $475,758. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
