Business Insight Lead/Gaithersburg, MD (full-time/ Mon-Fri / 40 hrs/week): Compile, analyze, and visualize findings from secondary marketing and/or sales data. Lead KPI tracking for the brand, including brand equity and quantitative tracking. Develop and communicate actionable insights to shape brand strategy and tactics based on research and data across customer segments. Support brand teams in making strategic decisions, informing brand performance and forecasts, developing promotional campaigns, and business cases. Develop, deliver and execute market research and insight plans that support the brand strategy. Lead primary market research design and execution.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Management Science or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in offered role or as a Market Researcher, Forecasting or Analytics within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry with all of the following: Implementing knowledge of drug development process, regulatory issues and marketing theory in generating actionable insights to drive commercial success of a brand; Identifying and tracking brand performance metrics; Working collaboratively with other functions in the organization, including Marketing, Market access, Sales HEOR and Medical, to develop brand strategic plan; Utilizing pharmaceutical data sources including IQVIA, Flatiron and IPSOS; and Evaluating results from primary research and secondary data analysis to inform brand forecast. The employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field of study plus (2) years of experience. Experience gained pre or post Master’s degree is accepted.
