Procurement Manager - Talent Acquisition
As a Procurement Manager within AstraZeneca’s (AZ) Global Procurement function you will develop and deploy global category strategies for the Talent Acquisition (TAQ) area. TAQ is a key category within HR Services within which we have a total annual addressable spend of circa $300M. You will be accountable for the overall area which includes the subcategories of Permanent Recruitment, Temporary Labour, Background Screening and Recruitment Advertising.
You will have accountability for leading both demand and supply side activities. As we launch our ‘Growth through Innovation’ strategy there is growing demand for permanent and temporary resource across the business. This demand is truly global, and you will need to interact with stakeholders from across the enterprise (multiple SET areas) to understand and meet their requirements. This includes building a close relationship with the TAQ LT within Global HR and interaction with SET-1 leaders. You will collaborate with Procurement colleagues in each of the regions to understand demand and requirements from out local Marketing Companies. As there is a strong digital component to our TAQ strategy and you will also need to work closely with our IT business and the IT & Digital Procurement team to ensure category strategies are enabled through best-in-class technology platforms.
