The Global Customer Delivery organization consists of cross-functional teams with the people and skills needed to deliver our innovative digital products and solutions to patients and healthcare providers participating in clinical trials around the world.
We are seeking a talented Senior Study Deployment Manager with a strong digital product delivery and technical leadership background from a health-tech company or pharma to join our Study deployment team.
The Study Deployment Manager leads one or several of our cross-functional technical deployment and delivery teams and will be responsible for the planning and successful deployment of our digital products to clinical trials. You will work closely with study implementation teams, as well as clinical operations, data management and regulatory affairs to ensure the solutions meet the requirements of our clinical trials.
The role combines IT project management, business analysis and technical skills into a hands-on delivery role and provides an excellent opportunity for professional development across a broad range of skills and disciplines through its exposure within a complex technology landscape in a clinical trial domain.
Success in this role requires hands-on delivery excellence, transformational leadership, a natural disposition towards problem-solving and a strong delivery and customer focus with the ability deliver on both operational, tactical and strategic levels.
Accountabilities
• Lead and manage one or several of our study deployment teams which includes capacity management, task prioritization and ensuring adherence to project timelines, milestones and quality standards
• Ownership and accountability for the technical deployment of our digital products to a number of clinical studies including all its constituents’ activities and deliveries
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans for your portfolio of studies including ensuring dependencies and milestones are effectively managed and status, risks and issues are continuously reported
• Determine the implementation approach for each study and define the critical path to ensure study milestones are being met
• Manage changes to requirements, time & scope and ensure that the impact is appropriately managed and approved by stakeholders
• Ensure the digital solution fulfils the requirements of each clinical trial and adheres to all required quality and regulatory requirements
• Build effective relationships with our customers and stakeholders of the wider organization including the Evinova leadership
• Proactively identify and lead opportunities to optimize and simplify our ways of working including the development and improvement of processes and automation including the use of tools that enable to accelerate the delivery of our digital solutions
• Develop service transition plans to ensure the digital solutions are continuously handed over into operational support.
Essential Skills/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical, life science or business degree
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience of digital project delivery to end users in a complex regulated multi-national environment, ideally in pharma or health-tech
• Proven experience of working with development and/or configuration of COTS/SaaS solutions that are configured based on customer needs
• Proven experience of a variety of business analysis tools/techniques and managing requirements in a regulated environment, ideally with GxP/SaMD experience
• Evidence of driving projects or change initiatives in an innovative and strategic digital environment with solutions that have a major impact on the wider organization
• Ability to influence and challenge at a senior level and communicate complex issues in a simple and effective way
• Superb communication skills and track record in building strong and credible relationships with key senior stakeholders and customers
• Extensive understanding of the IT landscape, systems and technology implemented for end users within a clinical trial context
• Excellent business acumen and insights with sensitivity to environment
Desirable Skills/Experience
• Master's degree in relevant discipline
• Formal certification in project or portfolio management
• Project / Programme Management certifications
• Experience from Healthcare and Life Sciences, preferably with clinical trials
• Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
• Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally of delivering GxP and SaMD solutions
